Emily Nguyen, OD

Dr. Emily Nguyen endeavors to provide patients with care and tools to help them go beyond their present visual boundaries. After achieving her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Washington, she shadowed her family optometrist. Her interest in Vision Therapy began after seeing how patients’ lives changed after their work in Vision Therapy. Dr. Emily loves seeing how excited patients are to achieve the ability to do daily tasks comfortably and be able to do tasks that they previously avoided. She graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry with her Doctor of Optometry Degree. While at PUCO, Dr. Emily experienced seeing double during a visual evaluation and saw what it could be like from a VT patient’s perspective. This increased her empathy and passion for patient care. Dr. Emily enjoys skiing, reading books, playing video games, and trying new food during her spare time.
