Katie Hash, OD, FOVDR

Calm, flexible, and caring, Dr. Katie adores working with children of all ages and abilities. She is a California native, but has called the Pacific Northwest home since 2016. She enjoys knitting, baking, attempted gardening, all things Disney, and spending time outdoors with her husband and three sons. Dr. Katie received her bachelor’s degree in biology in 2011 from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2016, she earned her Doctor of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences, graduating with honors.

​Dr. Katie serves as the Washington state Clinical Director of Opening Eyes, the vision screening arm of Special Olympics, and is a past president of King County Optometric Society. She is board certified in vision development and vision therapy and has a passion for partnering with children and their families to reach their visual goals. She has a special interest in strabismus, amblyopia, and how vision impacts learning.
